Adelaide City Council – Rundle Mall Public Place Organics Recycling Pilot Business Incentives Program
June 16, 2022
Eco-Products® from Detpak are proudly supporting the pilot incentive scheme recently launched by the City of Adelaide to improve waste diversion by encouraging eligible cafés along Rundle Mall to switch from using single-use plastics to compostable food packaging.
The program will commence in April 2022 for a period of twelve months and enables eligible businesses to receive vouchers for compostable food packaging items and to provide green organics bins, enabling customers to recover food scraps which would otherwise go to landfill.
To check eligibility for participation in the program, visit the Adelaide City Council’s website here.
